Attorney Recruiting > Clerk Recruiting

Each year, Rembolt Ludtke LLP interviews first and second year law students for clerk positions. We typically hire three to four clerks for full time employment during the summer, and one or two clerks part time during the school year. Our Firm does not split summers.
Valuable Experience
Law students participating in our clerk program receive challenging assignments from all practice areas. Clerks gain firsthand legal experience by working with all the attorneys in the Firm. Arrangements are made to have clerks attend meetings, depositions, hearings, and closings, in addition to performing legal research, writing and drafting of contracts and pleadings.
Individual lawyers regularly provide feedback to clerks. The Firm's recruiting partner also meets with each clerk informally from time to time to provide collective feedback and monitor workloads. In addition, clerks receive formal reviews at the mid-point of the summer, and at the time of their departure.
Network Training
The Firm provides each clerk with a personal computer for document drafting, legal research, electronic mail, Internet access and a wide range of other functions.
Upon arrival at the Firm, our clerks receive training on our computer network, which links all attorneys and staff. |
